Visual 🌷
I made this piece after making several autumn leaves shakers and decided I wanted to see some vibrant colours reminiscent of springtime. The hexagon shape is slightly larger than the usual star designs and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. Filled with an abundance of tiny, polymer clay flowers and tiny pearls, I also added a few shimmery lavender flowers for a little glisten when it hits sunlight. Vibrant and beautiful, this mesmerising little sensory tool will keep your eyes occupied when you need it most. Named “The Floating Flower Garden” by Louisa on TikTok who has purchased a couple of my floating tools and loves them!
Touch 🌺
On the back of this sensory tool, I kept with the floral inspiration and added various bumpy flower charms. This is quite an intense pain stim as some of the flowers are very deeply textured like the roses. I added in a small velvet love heart in a mint colour for the times your poor fingertips have gone in a little hard!
Sound 🌻
When shaken, the beads and flowers inside the tool make a calming, rain sound. Almost like one of those rain instruments you used to get in school. Relaxing and grounding, this little sensory tool engages three senses and keeps you calm in times of need.
